A taste of summer

It’s picnic season and we’ve got everything you need for al fresco eating in the shadow of the Thame memorial. Our takeout menu is available from the window, Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-2.30pm, featuring all your Woodworks favourites with a few pop-up extras, like affogato, especially for summer.

If you’re looking for a long-use, plastic-free lunch bag, our Organic Company fabric lunchboxes are the answer. In natural, white, navy and black, they can take your lunch from home to work or the park without the need for extra disposable sandwich bags.

New to our summer menu is virgin Long Island iced tea. Made with the finest Earl Grey steeped with Seville orange slices and served over ice with cloudy lemonade, it’s perfect for sunny days. Just look at that gorgeous sunshine colour.

Our takeout salad boxes change weekly. Our Italian-inspired box features lush ripe vine tomatoes and creamy mozzarella with pesto pine nut pasta. Or look out for our Mexican salad box. Smack-full of flavours, it contains a wild rice salad with lime, chillies, tomato salsa, blackened corn and chunky guacamole.

For a locally-made iced treat, our Chiltern Ice Cream pots hit the sweet spot. Our current flavour of the month is creamy pistachio gelato.

And lastly, don’t forget your reusable Keep Cup for a post-picnic caffeine fix. We sell the cork edition in two sizes: tall, for those who like long iced coffee or lattes, or a shorter cup for our espresso and flat-white friends.
